Laura (she/her)
Laura (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker and certified alcohol and drug counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, addiction, identity, and systemic oppression. She is the founder of Spectrum Health and Wellness, where she offers psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and consultation rooted in evidence-based practice and deep compassion.
Laura brings a fierce commitment to affirming care, especially for transgender and gender-diverse youth and their families. She is a certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, a facilitator of Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and is trained to proficiency in Motivational Interviewing through MINT. Her clinical work is grounded in anti-oppressive values and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from both holistic and allopathic traditions.
Laura is also a published author, educator, and national speaker on topics including LGBTQ+ mental health, trauma, and the intersection of policy and well-being. Her practice spans multiple states and Canadian provinces, and she is registered to provide care in New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, Massachusetts, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia.

Maddie (she/they)
Madelyn is a licensed social worker. She utilizes a collaborative psychodynamic approach that incorporates elements of relational, somatic, and insight-oriented therapy. Her work is rooted in an abolitionist lineage and she has a deep commitment to evidence-based best practice. Madelyn works within an anti-oppressive framework. She believes that every individual is an expert with regards to their unique lived experiences and strives to partner with her clients to tailor the therapy experience to each person’s specific strengths, needs, and goals. She views the role of a therapist as a co-conspirator on one’s journey towards liberation, empowerment, and living a fulfilled life.
In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Madelyn is an educator and engaged in community organizing. She has worked as an adjunct at Rutgers teaching Trans Health. She also previously served on the leadership team for New Jersey’s Trans Equity Coalition. Madelyn is a member of WPATH, and APHA.
