Free Beginner Crochet Workshop

Join us for a delightful and enriching experience at our Free Crochet Workshop, where we not only explore the art of crochet but also foster a sense of community that stitches us all together.

Participants will learn basic stitches to get them started on their first project! More seasoned yarn artists will find community and hone their skills. Whether you’re on a journey to make your first rectangle scarf, or diving into the art of granny square blankets and amigurumi animals. this workshop is designed for all skill levels.

Beyond the stitches and patterns, our workshop emphasizes the importance of community building. Crocheting is not just about crafting beautiful pieces; it's about connecting with others who share a passion for the handmade. In this workshop, we create a warm and welcoming space where participants can share stories, exchange tips, and forge friendships that extend beyond the crochet hook.

Beginners will be provided with a crochet hook and yarn. Please note that all yarn has been donated, so options may be limited. If you’d like to bring your own yarn and hooks, we recommend purchasing local at Yarnia Montclair’s local yarn shop: https://shopyarnia.com/
